This meeting is free and open to the public
Join us for
a workshop session for writers of all genres. Joyce Walters will discuss Stephen
King’s book On Writing. Ray Zimmerman will lead two activities for writers
wanting to structure their journaling experience and develop a journal as a
source of raw material useful for refinement into nonfiction, fiction, and poetic
works.
Charlton
Walters Hillis has a passion for writing and concentrates on
short
stories and poetry. Mother of Vinegar is the collection of her
short stories, as yet unpublished. Going Home on the Morning
Train is her nonfiction work in progress about an American

She has published nonfiction for SouthernReader.com as well
as book reviews for Chattanooga In the City. Charlton has written
of her faith in The Gospel Advocate and Christian Woman magazines.
She received a B.A. in fine arts from Morehead State University,
Kentucky. She is married with two daughters and one grandson,
