Improving your Craft
This meeting is free and open to the public
Join us for
a workshop session for writers of all genres. Joyce Walters will discuss Stephen
King’s book On Writing. Ray Zimmerman will lead two activities for writers
wanting to structure their journaling experience and develop a journal as a
source of raw material useful for refinement into nonfiction, fiction, and poetic
works.
Judy
DiGregorio is a free lance writer from San Antonio, Texas, who
now resides in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Her work appears locally
in Senior Living, Eva Mag, and CityView
Magazine, but she has also published more than 200 essays
and humorous poems in publications such as The Writer,
ByLine Magazine, and the Army/Navy Times.
Her 2007 publications include a story in Chicken Soup for
the Beach Lovers’ Soul and two stories in Chicken
Soup for the Soul Christmas. A frequent speaker and presenter,
Judy teaches humor writing for local colleges and at writing
conferences. The Tennessee Arts Commission nominated Judy to
their on-line artist registry, SouthernArtistry.org,
in 2006, and she was recently named Best Local Writer by the
