These groups provide opportunities for our members to meet in critique groups to share feedback on their writing.  Each group is unique and sets its own schedule; contact the group leader for more information and to confirm the next meeting date/time (which can change from time to time).  While you are welcome to attend a group meeting to see if it is a good fit, you must be a current CWG member to participate on a regular basis.

If you don't see the group you want, then we encourage you to start a new group!  Please email us if you are interested in leading a new group.

• Cleveland Writers Group: ClevelandTNWritersCommunity is an online Yahoo Group, intended to create an online community for writers within a 100 mile radius of Cleveland, TN. They exchange info. on writers conferences or programs, encourage each other, brag when we have something published or anything else of interest to writers. Go to Yahoo.com, click on Entertainment, click Groups and search for writers groups in Cleveland, TN. From time to time they also hold Open Mic Nights and regular meetings at a restaurant. But for the most part they are online.
• Fiction Writers’ Group meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 7PM at Wally's Restaurant at the exit of I-75 and East Ridge. Going North from Georgia, it is exit #1B. Going South from Tennessee, it is exit # 1. For more information and directions, contact Lantz Powell @(423) 893-5539.

• Writing for the Christian Market Meets the third Tuesday of each month from 6-8 p.m. in Room 404 of the Tower at First Presbyterian Church on McCallie at Douglas.
