Stories, Screens, and Subcreations with Cannes Film Festival Winner Anthony Sims Jr.
Award-winning screenwriter Anthony Sims Jr. shares how video games, dogs and a shellshocked father led him to search for stories in literature, film, and eventually computer code. Followed by a conversation about storytelling in a world full of digital screens.
Anthony holds a BA in English from Austin Peay State University and an MFA in Film from Ohio University. His thesis screenplay, Behemoth, was optioned by Lucy Darwin (Lost in La Mancha, Match Point). His 2012 short film The Day After Stonewall Died won Best Film at the Cannes Short Film Festival in 2014. Anthony lives in Chattanooga with his wife and dogs.

Meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month from 6-8 PM at the downtown Chattanooga Public Library (1001 Broad Street, 37402). They are free and open to the public. Invite your friends!
