Karen H. Phillips traces her love of books or anything literary back to the playpen. She began writing for publication in 2006 & won a scholarship for the 2007 Mount Hermon Christian Writers' Conference in California. Karen joined the CWG the same year and began a term on the board of directors, also serving as secretary twice and newsletter editor for several years.
Her credits include publication in an anthology, Project Keepsake ("The Pie Plate," a memoir piece), Honorable Mention in Writer's Digest annual competition (short memoir), and recent publication of two poems in online literary journals.
In addition to the moniker "writer," Karen's proud to be called wife, mom, and grandmother.
