Powell spends most of his time working on his novel,
Recognize
the Corn. After 25 years in sales and contract negotiations
with small businesses and large corporations, he joined
Chattanooga
Writers Guild. He soon started
The Literary Agency
for Southern Authors. Today, the agency has clients throughout
the South. It has grown purely by word of mouth -- Lantz refuses
to have even a website, despite the fact that most of his communication
with clients is done via the Internet.
Lantz recently contributed to "Masters of Sales," compiled
and edited by Ivan Risner and Don Morgan. It was the #1 Business
Book on the
New York Times list and numerous other lists
such as
BusinessWeek's and
Amazon.com.
