Improving your Craft
This meeting is free and open to the public
Join us for
a workshop session for writers of all genres. Joyce Walters will discuss Stephen
King’s book On Writing. Ray Zimmerman will lead two activities for writers
wanting to structure their journaling experience and develop a journal as a
source of raw material useful for refinement into nonfiction, fiction, and poetic
works.
Marsha
lives in Cleveland with her husband and three dogs. When she's
not chasing one of the dogs off the couch, she enjoys spending
time outside and working on her novel for young adults.
While attending Lee University, she worked as a Resident Assistant
and was asked by the President to speak on several occasions.
After graduation, she served as a Residence Director and later,
the Director for Residential Life. After her tenure in that
office, she made a lateral move to head the newly established
Office for Non-Traditional Students. She served on the Board
of Directors for Life Challenge of Cleveland for two years during
this time.
More recently, Marsha has provided the opportunity for a writers
group to begin in Cleveland. "I feel privileged to be acquainted
with these wonderful writers. I feel like we can learn from
each other."
