Sybil
Baker’s fiction and essays have appeared in numerous journals
including upstreet and AWP’s The Writer’s
Chronicle as well as three anthologies including most recently
MOTIF: Writing By Ear (Motes Books). Before coming to
UTC in 2007, she taught English at Yonsei University in South
Korea where she won several teaching excellence awards and was
a grand prize winner of Seoul’s essay contest. Her novel,
The Life Plan, was published by Casperian Books in March
